Personal Background

Don is a South Carolina native and has been a resident of Clover since 1969. He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1956. Upon leaving the Navy he went into sales, customer service, and troubleshooting from 1957 until 1989.

Service in Real Estate

Member of York, Lancaster, and Chester Counties Association of Realtors, and served as President in 1999. Member of the South Carolina Association of Realtors, and served as Region four Vice President in 2001. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors. Don is also a member of Multiple Listings Services (MLS) of York, Lancaster, and Chester SC counties, as well as Gaston and Mecklenburg NC counties. Don has been a member of the Million Dollar Club since 1993, and he is also a lifetime member of Awards of Excellence Club since 1997. Don holds the designations of a GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute) and ABR (accredited buyers representative), and was voted Realtor of the year in 2001 for the York, Lancaster, and Chester counties.

Service in the Community

Don has been very active since 1969 in various civic organizations as well as the Clover First Baptist Church. Don is also an active member of the Greater Clover Chamber of Commerce and also served as president from 1994 until 1995.
